Q: What happens if I cannot press a button?
A: With our optional Fall Detector, we will be notified even if you are unable to press a button.
Q: Is the button waterproof?
A: Yes. It can be worn in the bath or shower.
Q: What is the range of the button from the Main Alarm Console?
A: The normal range is up to 400 feet from the Main Alarm Console. This is affected by environmental conditions, walls etc. The button will usually work outside around the perimeter of your house.
Q: Can we have more than 1 button?
A: Yes. There is a small fee for each additional button. You can have either a pendant (necklace) style or a wrist style button.
Q: Do we purchase or rent the system?
A: We offer both options. See our pricing section for details.
Q: Is there a fee for installation or set up of the system?
A: No. Our professional staff will come to your home and set everything up for you. Other companies either ship the system to you and you have to set it up, or they charge a fee to come to you.
Q: What about a warranty?
A: Our Purchased System comes with a 2 Year Full Warranty. Our Rental System comes with a Lifetime Warranty including parts and labour and free battery replacements.
Q: Is there a long term contract?
A: No. You only commit to 3 months, after that you can cancel with 30 Days’ Notice.
Q: How do we pay the monthly fee?
A: We offer PAP (pre-authorized payment) direct debit from your bank account or from your credit card.
Q: What happens if we move?
A: The system can be re-located to your new address as long as it is within our service area.
Q: What happens to the system when we no longer need it?
A: Contact our office. If you rented it, we will arrange to retrieve it. If you purchased it, we have a buyback program or you can pass it along to someone else that can use it. Arrangements will be made through our office.
